Champagne L'Amateur
David Léclapart's first champagne is the blanc de blancs L'Amateur from the 2020 vintage.The wine grapes of this 100% chardonnay, were harvested from different vineyards of Trépail and aged in second-hand barrels.
Certainly don't let the name fool you, because amateurish this champagne is definitely not. The L'Amateur has a creamy but balanced flavour on the palate. You taste pure freshness and Léclapart's respect for the vines from the first sip.
Champagne L'Aphrodisiaque
A true collector and looking for a very impressive champagne?
Then complete your collection with the more premium L'Aphrodisiaque from the jara 2018. This champagne consists of 80% chardonnay and 20% pinot noir. The grapes were grown by Léclapart on just one plot in Trépail.
The L'Aphrodisiaque has a rather spicy feel to it. Then again, the style is elegant and complex.

David Léclapart learned the art of winemaking from his father, who in turn learned it from his father. At the family estate in Trépail, a village known for premier cru champagnes, he harvests the grapes with the utmost respect for the terroir. He is one of the best-known biodynamic winemakers of the moment. And you can taste that, as his champagnes and wines are renowned for their high quality and purity.
