WHAT IS CHOUCROUTE?
We make our choucroute, or sauerkraut, entirely ourselves. The sauerkraut is matured for about two weeks in an earthen pot specially made for choucroute. We then prepare the choucroute further with delicious smoked or cured meat.
What you drink with it? Wine! At Bar à Vins, we have a wide range of wines that go perfectly with choucroute. For example, be sure to try an Alsace wine, which compliments this dish perfectly.
